Who am I? by Linda Spreeman

I have decided to start a new series entitled:

Who am I?

Today I am #Linda Spreeman, Reviewer of Books. Tomorrow I will be something else. Tomorrow, I may be, #Linda Spreeman, Maker of Cakes, or #Linda Spreeman, Creator of PowerPoint. You get the picture.

Since today, I am #Linda Spreeman, Reviewer of Books, I’ll start with a book that was given as a Christmas gift, eons ago. I thought it was going to be another dry self-help type. Something, not sure what that something was, but “something” drew me to this book about a month ago. Was I ever fundamentally wrong about my perceived content and purpose of the book.

Realizing that every person is unique, and what resonated with me might not be the message that resonates with someone else, the book carries a lot of hidden gems and much nourishment for the soul.

There was one chapter that I have relayed in the course of two conversations in the last month. That one chapter has helped me assess situations from a different – and, yes, higher level of thinking.

Here is a link to the book with a variety of genuine messages.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I had this book for several years. It was given to me as a gift. For some reason, I was reluctant to begin reading it. About a month ago, “something” drew me to it. Wow. I was impressed. There were significant messages and tremendous thought-provoking chapters. One, in particular, I shall never forget and has resonated so much so that I have drawn on it several times in the last few weeks alone.

It’s a genuinely good book that filled my my heart and mind.
